Science of Games

Game Trailers, a hub for video-content gaming media with >3 million monthly visitors,publishes a variety of podcasts, webisodes, and video game reviews. Within their original miniseries, “The Science of Games“, focuses on the speculative science that could exist behind many popular video games.

At the request of, Thwacke! provided expert interviews covering a wide range of disciplines such as molecular biology, nanotechnology, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence. Our contribution to this miniseries was able to generate traffic upwards of 1 million views since their publication. This collaboration succeeded in popularizing the science behind several video game IPs in line with the fundamental aim of science outreach advocated by Thwacke!
